335Xi Loaner Car Today

Got a 335Xi for a loaner car today. Impressions:
- Engine loves to be revved high and pulls strong from 4K to 8K.
- Turbo lag is very slight, if at all. You get a little bit of grunt as you travel the torque curve early on but then you quickly hit 3-4K RPM and the power really kicks in. Whoooosh!

- This engine should be tossed into the X3 as an IS model.
- The twin turbo V8 should be tossed into the E70 as an IS model.
- Then, the X6 can be used as the "I don't want a soccermom-sized SAV; but I DO want a high seating position in an auto that will run with the M5" type of car.

I should send this thought to Munich!!!
