It seems that the upcoming 550i GT is not that quick (at least on paper) that it reaches 100km in 5.5s. The current 550i without the twin turbo can do that in 5.1s. Strange?

The new 50 GT (4.4 litre tt) has a published 5.5 sec 0-60 as well. Each time will probably vary from published BMW figures in the real world. The GT has 40 more hp, but carries 300 kg (660 lb) more curb weight.

I hope the 5 starts to follow the 3 rear bumper. Two pipes on the right for the 'lower' models, one on each side for the twin turbos, and of course two on each side for the M.
