It looks like the trunk is going to be huge (long rear overhang imo).

It looks shorter than the current 5-series. Ever notice how big that one is? Sometimes the trunk looks huge.

Hood is similar to new 7-series and X1. New pedestrian laws and therefore different material for bumper and front part of hood.

so the bumper and front part of the hood are softer so that if you hit a pedestrian, it won't hurt them as much?

I hear that. I just meant that the body on the current 5-er seems to be long behind the back wheel. The rear quarter/trunk just looks flat out huge from some angles. Maybe it is the high trunk line that makes it appear that way to me.

Munich. The world premiere of the new BMW 5 Series sedan, the epitome of aesthetics and driving pleasure in the upper middle class, is imminent. As of now, the sporty and elegant design can be viewed as a silhouette in the form of already known from the BMW Museum kinetic sculpture at the BMW Press Club.

On 23 November 2009 at 20:00 Clock (Central Time), the trailer with kinetic sculpture through a live stream superseded by the revelation. At the same time all the information available around the new BMW 5 Series Sedan available for download.
