Will the taillight only be redesigned or do they get also a new shape? (Like the Facelift of the 7 series)
I've heard the gauge is changed too! Is that right?

Speculation is that taillight graphics will change a little and will be using better CELIS LEDs and postioning of lights will change too.
Inside will have some new improved materials.
Angel eyes will be more exposed and brighter.
CELIS LED corona with DRL on headlights.
Changes on side skirt and rear bumper diffuser lip.
Minor change on the hood and front intake

MB is first to come up with the side view mirror blinkers but BMW will never copy its rival. A bunch of other manufacturers have though.

If you look at the taillights at night side-by-side with other BMWs(incl 1-series), its clear that they are not as bright as other BMWs. So with the facelift the butterfly shape of taillights will change to traditional BMW L shape and it will have the X6 style LEDs.
The white tape on the E90 LCI mule is metal part.
