 Cabriolets are out too.I like the 1 in lighter shades. I saw one in Black/red leather at the dealership, and it was okay. For the coupe: Crimson Red perhaps, and LeMans Blue (a colour we don't get) works terrificly. The cabriolet works for me in the silvers with Taupe lthrette. Whatever you do, avoid the Sedona Red.

They have not been around for very long. If sales are slow, I would expect them to pick up. I couldn't immagine that the 1-series would be anything but successful.
To tell you the truth, I have not seen a lot of new e70 X5's or e92 335i coupes either. I am not sure if they aren't selling well, or if the whole real estate slump has rolled over other major purchases such as car sales.

I meant that particular dealer, Russel BMW. It isn't a big-volume dealer, which is good because their service area isn't overpacked.
I know VOB BMW has already sold a few orders. It's only a matter of time until someone forks up a premium to purchase the demo (135i black/red or 128i cabrio silver/taupe). That's what happened to their M3.

Thanks for the info on 1addicts LeMansX5. I got these photos from that website. I don't know if I would have picked this color combo, but I think it looks pretty good. Take a look at the brakes!

yeah i saw a fully loaded (ok, strangely, sans sat nav) black/red leathe one at bmw of san diego. sat in it. was HUGELY impressed. basically reminded me of a modern remix of my favorite 3-series generation, the E36. honestly, if i was in the market for a small hardtop coupe, i would get it in a heartbeat.
that said, i still thinjk it's WAY overpriced. almost $50K out the door.
