I thought that whole article was a little wierd as the M3 is not a direct competitor to either of those cars and you can buy the GT-R and the M3 for the price of the Porsche. I guess the M3 is close to the GT-R in price though. It was imnpressive that the M3 gained time on the 911 in the corners.

By the way, look how freaking big that GT-R looks compared to the other cars.

Kinda like twilightzone when the E90 M3 is considered light in a comparison test. I'm glad it took the prize, BMW never fails.

GT-R fast, but not as refined and maybe build quality not quite up to BMW and Porsche standard....

Porsche 911 Turbo, fast as hell...but also expensive as hell.

BMW M3, the ultimate GT car (decently fast, but well-balanced in terms of handling and ride and after test driving it, the M3 does ride and handle better than the 335i)

If you want a confortable car that is fun to drive, M3
If you want fast, great handling, pedigree, 911 Turbo.
If you want fast for great price, GTR.

Fast for a great price? The M3 was the least expensive of the three!

I wouldn't say that. Did you read the section on the M3? I think they knew people would say "BMW paid them off" becasue they went into great detail explaining why the M3 was the winner. I am pretty sure they were looking for the best overall 2+2 coupe (with price being a factor), not just the best performance numbers.
