It looks.. good, I just miss the days when a 7 series looked different then a 5 series and so on, all the models seem to be melting together, it looks like a 5 series on steriods with a Lexus LS rear end(check it out), and almost every BMW has the same headlight shape, with the exception of the 1 series and X3, its probably just gonna take time for me to like it, but does anyones else see this?

No, but I believe it still has the Switch-tronic system - buttons on the back of the steering wheel to change gears manually. Remember that Alpina invented the system before even Porsche's Tiptronic system came along (Porsche apparently originally was going to use buttons, too, but realised it had a patent infringement problem).

Yes, the new engine (presumably it's the I1 in Alpina code) has 7bhp more than the H1 as used in the B7, but it has 23bhp LESS than the H1 used in the B5S and B6S, as well as slightly less torque. Better emissions and fuel economy than the H1. Woohoo...

Going to be hard to see how the Alpina V8TT 507PS engine will differ much, in practical terms, from the M-division equivalent.

I don't see the "+" and "-" on the steering wheel that was there on the last B7.

Just checked the Alpina website - it still has Switch-Tronic, but I guess it just doesn't have the signs on the front of the wheel.
