BMW not accepting orders for 2010 7 series

So my brother was ready to place his order for a 2010 750Li M sport pack. He was on his way to the dealer Thursday when the CA called and told him they just got word that BMW was not accepting any new orders on 7s (built to spec). What's up with that?

Anyone hear anything?

X6? what about X3(down 65.6%) and 6-series(down 45.7%). X6 is a low production model and only 40k were intended to be sold worldwide. I know its doing bad in US but X3 has taken a good beating due to Q5 and GLK.

Sales down over 20% sure does not look good. I know they decided to increase profit per unit but 20% is a large decrease.
