I ordered a BMW 5 Series GT in December 09 and just received email from my dealer that the car will be assembled on January 21, 2010.

Actually 2 members here have already taken delivery. Both in Europe.

I just saw the first one on US roads and it had manufacturer tags. a $90K car like that isn't exactly flying off the shelves... We're only starting to see X6 owners trickle in now but YMMV...
