335is drive
Running high rpm shifts in a car with 5 miles on the ticker. Either way I decided it was too small for my needs. I was not thinking to snap a pic with the droid but you all know the car I assume, heres a pic of an identical one if ya do not.![]()

My friend got one, I think it sounds like a vacuum compared to other models and I hate the DCT. It may shift quick, but even in DS mode its a second delayed from what I want it to do. Maybe with a different exhaust and a stick.

I loved the DCT I drove in an E90 M3, seemed pretty damn good to me.

In my limited experience the DCT is extremely responsive and loads of fun. Some will always want a 6m regardless.

I drove a DCT 135i on the track today and almost died between the lack of response, weirdly bad handling and moron a half a car length behind me the whole time.

Wow I am dumbfounded. I must have a different perception of responsive lol I haven't driven any 430 scuderia's or anything but I think the DCT is not so shabby....am I mistaken or is this system identical to the set up in the M3?

I mean, compared to a Steptronic its great. For me, it still takes 3 seconds to realize that I want it to shift down, because hitting - three times will confuse it just as much while taking longer to physically do. D mode drives like a rubber band and DS is just high RPMs and a lot more gas gone. I think the M3's has gotta be better tuned, if not its just as useless as SMG imo. (though I will say its an improvement over that)
