Went to the dealer for the F20.....

With the recent release of the F20 in South Africa, I strolled down to Atlantic BMW in Kaapstad (Cape Town) where they just received their fleet of 1ers a couple days ago.

I know many folks here seem to hate the styling but honestly it's not so bad. The interior is substantially improved in quality and feel and there's now useable boot/truck space. Fuel consumption is substantially better and CO² emissions are down, which is good because there's a CO² tax now in SA on vehicles emitting over 120g/km.

Prices for the SA market start at R269.000 for the entry 116i and bump to R335.000 or so for the top 120d model.
