I think the front looks pretty good head on. I like the new headlight design along with the front bumpers. But when I saw the side view, I'm not too sure about the steep downward sloping of the nose. Also, the way they cut the hood across the front kinda detracts from the front. The rear looks great as does the interior. Can't wait to see the new Ms.

The side view with the downward sloping nose looks limp and weak. I know its probably for aerodynamics, but it's not a great look from the side. I agree with the hood line assessment too.

its no E46, but at least its not the ugly E90 anymore (though it is not too far from it, its still much more attractive)

You have got to be kidding me: an iDrive display of the current power and torque?! Can you imagine showing that off on a date?

I do eagerly await the pictures of the touring version- traditionally the touring has looked better to my eyes.

Sad thing is, I don't think I'd ever buy any of the newer BMWs. They're extraordinarily competent and well-engineered, but somehow the fizz and excitement has been lost and I'm not talking about speed or horsepower.

That's in keeping with the car mfg'rs all rushing to provide the most gizmos for drivers to look at, vs looking at the fookin road.

"Say Baby, how do you like that torque reading?!"
