That is an amazing looking car. I just dont understand how a car company with such beautiful products can make such an unreliable and maintenance heavy car. I hope things get better in the next 10 years but those turbos really worry me. Imagine coming off warranty with a bum turbo?

I feel you. I was ready to go back to
Japanese after my current BMW.
Mainly out of fear of future issues
and to seek longevity. This car
has been problem free, but the
lease prohibits I purchase it based
on residual numbers.

Then I saw the 4 Series. It will be hard
not to get this car. The question is can I
drive it for a while? I want to sock
more money in retirement, not auto
maintenance.

Rather than turbo, the biggest problem has
been the HPFP's on the N54's.
