Extended Warranty/Got me a new engine x5m. Now what?

So,

My 2012 X5m, I had purchased extended warranty for;

It was at 63k miles when right after some "hard spirited" driving, I def. heard the noise like my rod bearings got damaged(common problem with v10s m5/m6s)

took into dealer and i was right.. rod bearings, metal flakes on oil =new engine

so the extended warranty company approved the new engine replacement.
Dealer replaced/installed new engine

What does this mean for the re-sale of my car? Good? bad? Longevity im guessing good?

Am i lucky that i got this new engine?

Let me know your thoughts, opinions

Thanks!

Vlad
