The is a fairly long list of causes that show the same symptoms so troubleshooting is necessary. I would start with reading for error codes. If there are codes write them down, clear them and see what codes return. Codes aren't always conclusive but they are directional. Reading codes will reduce the troubleshooting, getting to the core issue sooner and hopefully you won't be buying parts that don't fix the problem.

Current Mileage 179380km
Code Description Mileage 002D2E Throttle valve opening angle -intake pipe vacuum, correlation 179376 002DED DME: Power management, closed-circuit current violation 179304 The above is caused by not remembering to power down my dash cam The above codes and mileage do not coincide with the idle problem. Also I have never had the CEL displayed. I think I will clear the codes and try to make the poor idle condition appear and then check the codes again. |
