Palbay strikes again. Check the new interior, extra flared wheel arches and ///M wheels.

Like what was said in Roundel, a M badged 2 ton vehicle is pointless and waters down the M name in an effort to compete with AMG.

Whoa, Palbay for Brenda Priddy & Company? Is he a full-time paparazzo now?

Anyway, for the X6 ///M, BMW should've used a different engine, IMO.

Not full time...but helps pay for gas, camera equipment, etc. We have been talking for about a year...she is VERY selective on what she will accept...finally found a few things that will fly. Thanks for the nice comments.Despite what the head of the M Division has said (the X "M"'s will have tweaked TTV8's) the engines still sound to me like V10/V12's in both the X6 and X5.I got a good listen this time....much higher pitch exhaust note than the TTV8 found in the 50i X6......and I've heard the TTV8 exhaust note 100's of times over the last couple of years. The exhaust system/note might be tuned to sound like a V10/V12...I'll guess we'll find out in the near future. Thanks! PalBay

^^The current head of M-division was heading SAV dept before he took over M-division earlier this year. Only after his taking over we heard that BMW decided to put M badge on X6 and X5. Something to do with him...

Key word..."compete". their decision to substitute pride with business ("competition") will pay off where it counts most, their bottom line...especially considering the current auto-industry environment. The success of the X6 as a case in point. IMO there is a market for it, there always will be for exclusive performance, no matter the guise. I read a statement from the M boss that it will be priced in the neighborhood of the ///M5. This tells me that they've already targeted the X ///M's market. I already know of several in that market that would cross over from Cayenne Turbo's and ML63's in a heartbeat.

As an added bonus, gas prices are dropping ... ...
