I saw one today at the dealer - Carbon Black.
It looks....menacing. The pictures do it no justice at all.

Yes. It's really hard to capture in pictures, you need to see it in person. It probably has a little more blue than I'd like. I saw an ///M3 in Jerze? black. It has the blue hue but is blacker than the Carbon. NICE color.

Yes and Yes, better than Sapphire Black.
Sapphire has been there on regular BMWs for a loong time. If you want a ///M car than get a special color too. Ask a hard core ///M driver. Carbon black is original ///M color. E46 ///M3 has the carbon black. Although now Carbon black is offered in other models too, but still special color for M-division. Seen a E92/90 M3 in Jerez black? Get off 6speedonline.
