If it wasn't quite so cheezy, I'd definitely put an 'M' badge on your Estoril blue X5. That body kit stands out way more then mine in black.

I'm surprised they didn't go with 21" wheels and a better looking rim. The X6 5L has 21" rims. I personally think they should have gone to a slightly updated model of the 'M' Contours from the E36 M3. That would have looked sick. And given the 'M' seats more attention then just the suttle logo in the headrest. The engine however, they nailed which I guess isn't too surprising.

Yesterday I popped into my local BMW dealer and sat in the latest 5L X6, (apparently the M model is coming some time soon) in a word WOW. This thing does 0 - 60 in 5.4 sec, apparently the M will go same distance in 4.5sec From where I'm from that's v fkn fast. No 3 or 5 M's in stock at present as they fly out the door as soon as they stock them, damn (no pun intended).

Both new E70 X5 & E71? could maybe down size the overly large front vents just a tad, IMO they should be smaller than the headlight assmbly. Having said that it appears that all is the same minus the 1 grill and spotlight. Also as RR says lose the rear reflectors. Leather trim and appointments are superb.

Pics look cool. Estoril blue suits the new E70M IMO, it sought of ties in the new with the soon to be old.

wheel and tires setup look small - not to happy with rear bumper either.

its maybe not aggresive enough lookin(maybe in person its better)

i would probly prefer e60 4.8i with sport pkg & aero with M motor but
im also kinda scared of those turbo giving issue 5=6 years down the road.
The wheels are 20's and they still look small? Perhaps the design is not as some expected but the trade-off is that it's lightweight, so it serves a purpose. It's a performance SUV not a rock-hopper...You can always choose the wheels when you order or go after-market.

IMO, the E70 aero kit doesn't make it look aggressive but definitely upgrades the look, maybe athletic but not aggressive. REAL functional air-intakes...now that's aggressive. After all, they could either grow on you or you'll make up your mind when you see it in person.
