I think the deal breaker for me was not the missing 5th seat. I think the deal breaker was hearing so many people discuss that while the X6M has rear bucket seats, that it's still not comfortable back there for full sized adults.

In other words.. I could have managed with one less seat.
But I didn't want to manage with a car that only had 4 seats, two of which weren't comfortable.

For me, that's way to much form over function. And I'm all about function.

I do have to say though, was driving down the road today and say a white X6, it really is a great looking vehicle.

But I'm I'm getting a SUV/SAV, it better be comfortable, functional.

Won't the x5m and the x6m drive and handle pretty much identical to each other?

Makes perfect sense...i think that's what it may come down to for most buyers. Some will pass due to form and some will purchase simply for function. I'm back and forth myself...and as usual, on a road trip yesterday, i saw a silver (?) X6 and couldn't stop

Congratz...all i really can't stop saying is that i knew this day would come: a time when BMW would give in to the demand and provide us X and performance enthusiasts with our very own X ///M. It may not have made sense to many but to me, it made sense the day i drove off in my first 4.6is...Happy motoring

If I remember correctly from when i ordered my M5 in 2005, it takes a week or two to change...as 150 means the factory is putting your order into their production plans...very exciting...congrats!
