I think the recommended BMW setup for the x5m is in fact 19's (style 298m) so apparantly there are 19s that fit

Someone on another board stated that his friend purchased BMW Style 232 wheels (19") for his X6M, and they fit fine....

I'm hoping this is true, but waiting for confirmation.

I'd much prefer going with a 19" tire, and 255 width rubber. We're not going to be exploiting anything near the full potential of the car during the winter - for us, it's just a matter of getting through the winter, safe, without having to worry about the tires. Looks don't matter to us in the winter, really. During the summer, I am Captain Anal Retentive with regards to the finish and detailing of our cars, but in the winter, especially on the Canadian Prairies, all that goes right out the window......

Better than nothing on the X5M, but they have de-tuned the steering wheel heaters in the 2009/2010 cars.

My '06 4.4 would burn my hands.. my ///M is dialed down quite a bit. Warm, not hot.

My wife noticed this on her '09 335xi too.

Hey BMW: when it's -15, we need all the heat we can get
