Color is one of the biggest choices when ordering a new vehicle - I bought 2 08's and 1 09 in Alpine White and give it a big thumbs up. I believe that BMW's white is one of the sharpest on the road today, great choice and no apologies are necessary.

hmm, thats confusing me.
In the german configurator the Sahkir ist called "full leather" too.
And you have to pay an extra of 2.450,- € in contrast to the standard like "silverstone" which is offered as "extended" and free of charge

That is full leather in picture...Look at the top of the doors above the carbon leather trim, it is the same nappa that is in my car.

I'd LOVE to drive an X5M in Germany. Can't think of a better car to have there. I however would need one hell of a salary for the gas. That can't get good mileage at 240 km/h

To the OP: Nice upgrade!
My former Cayenne Turbo S "ate" around 36 l / 100 km at Vmax (aprox. 280 kph). I suppose that the X5 M with M Driver's Package (Vmax raised to 275 kph) I ordered will eat up at least 30 liters at that speed.

Lets do the math:

100 km = 62 mph
30 l = 7,93 gal

Result: I get at Vmax aprox. 7,82 mpg if I'm right. Ouch.

Another interesting fact: one liter of 98 octane (aprox. 95 octane US) fuel costs over here ~ 1.45 EUR or 2,04 USD.

Meaning: one GALLON of premium fuel costs in Germany...hold your breath...7,72 USD.
Do you guys still want to complaint about high fuel prices in the US ?!

I really like those HRE wheels. Does anyone know if they come in a gray (titanium)? I prefer that over the silver for a black X5M.

Just an FYI: 98-99 RON fuel in Europe is equivalent to our 93-94 AKI fuel. In other words, "SuperPlus" is roughly equivalent to our "Super."

And yes, we still have it really, really good. Other than the fuel price spikes a few years ago, that is!
