After placing an order for an X5M last week I was told that I could expect a build date of between mid January to early February. Got a call from my truly competent sales guy today saying that he had managed to get the build date bumped up to late this month! That means I could technically pick it up the 1st week of January but I opted to get it in Greenville on Jan 13. Every thing I've read about taking delivery there has been golden. Thanks to everyone who has posted here for helping with research from comparisons between the X5M to other cars ......to option and accessory analysis....... to expected discounts.

Does picking it up in GV mean you dont have to pay dealer prep and such?
