I read that in all the search results for 2011 bmw x5. Bmwblog was one I think.

Another way to look at it.....If you take delivery in Feb versus May, you may miss out on some minor changes but may be more ready and closer to trading cars in 2012 or 2013 when something major hits the market.

Guys, relax.

Here are the changes for the X5 M:

Two new options (not sure if they are available in the US):
Sideview Camera
Speed Info (also using a camera)

Engine and 6-speed automatic transmission stay the SAME, NO CHANGES !!!

Rear DVD Entertainment System stays the SAME, NO CHANGES !!!

Only changes: minor cosmetic change to the front (hardly visible) and the well known rear light graphics from the new 5/7 series. Shape stays the SAME.

Again: NO MAJOR CHANGES.

This is CONFIRMED, the March 2010 GERMAN X5 M pricelist is already official.

Hope this helps...

I see, so no navi harddrive thing? I wonder if the rear light graphic could be retrofitted. I love the look of those on the 7.

I'm sure it can - I'm asking my dealer to agree to give it to me at cost if I decide I want it.

Not sure what you mean. The iDrive navigation system on the X5 M is already HDD operated, at least in Germany. Don't know about the US. If you mean a larger HDD, I don't have a clue. The new X5 M pricelist iDrive navigation system description doesn't say anything about an upgrade.

Here are the photos in comparison (new/old).
This is NO photoshop job, I took the photos from the old and new X5 M brochure.

Again wasnt the hardrive navigation effective in 2010. Mine has a hard drive navigation. Plus ability to save content to a hard drive for music playback.

Good news on the transmission!!!. So changes are probably new headlights and new tailights.

They have brochures out already? Amazing... Do you have a picture of the new headlights shown?
