few probs with me new car

I've had my X5M for two weeks now and like everything about it, except a couple of issues.

1) Where I live it is -10 C outside, and when I start the engine after the car has been sitting there for a while, the engine doesn't start the first time. I press the button, the tachometer needle jumps up and goes right down again. On the second attempt it always starts with no problem. WTF?

2) I have recently noticed that when driving 20-30 km/h and tapping brakes causes a clicking noise. It seems to come from the right wheel, but the key here is a quick push on the pedal, not slowly and not till the bottom, just a quick tap.

I'm taking the car to the dealer on Tuesday, but just thiught maybe has had experienced anything similar. Thx for any advice.

Here's my baby:

Good to have you here! Looks awfully cold there. Post some more pics of the car and spec sheet when you can.

Cheers,

Love the blue. I have 2k miles now... no forward brake squeal. Just that annoying loud one in reverse.

I do have a slight thunk noise when I give a solid tap on the brakes. I don't have to slam on them but don't ease onto them either. I noticed it recently. Happens at any speed for me and even when the car is stopped.

BTW, has anyone looked into getting the clear front bumper reflectors for US cars? I think it looks so much better than the orange ones we have.
