Perfect assessment. Could not have said it better. Some decent stand-alone options (pedal set is sleek, front bumper trim is not bad). But the end result is a monstrosity...and NOT in a good way.

that was the last cool X5 Schnitzer,after that they lost me with the odd
rims and their wire grill things..

It isn't THAT bad. I hate the wire grille and the 2 sides of the hood and would prefer to have the regular i-drive knob, but the rest isn't too bad.

I would personally choose Hamann, Lumma, or G-Power over it.
