///MB is on a distinguished road
I agree with everyone who says that the X5M is deceivingly fast. You don't really feel the acceleration in the "butt dyno" but when you look at the speedo, you're already flying. The car cruises at 80mph and feel like it's going 40mph. At 100+ mph it still feels smooth and doesn't feel like you're going that fast at all.
In comparison, our S600 with V12TT feels a lot faster. When I accelerate from 0-60 you really get that sensation of being pushed back into your seat, like when an airplane takes off. I haven't had a chance to do any side by side runs between the two, but the numbers are pretty similar.
So, again, it's going FAST... you just can't tell. lol.
But, I also agree that I would like the feel of the acceleration more than what it gives us now. Accelerating in the S600 feels amazing.
