AS long as no one is in the car with me. I push the m button and shift it in to sport. Unless I am on the highway.

I usually drive in M mode in Power mode, and DSC on MDM, EDC on regular setting, and transmission in D. I feel as tho it's a little sluggish in non-power mode.

i use M+S manual mode (all traction off) most of the time unless there are people on board with me,then its just normal M mode. i do turn it all off to efficient/normal settings with edc enabled for long highway drives, it feels like an entirely different vehicle. the mpg also increases to 18/19...

I think of Drive as normal for family and in the neighboorhood. I frequently toggle between Drive and Sport around town depending on the surroundings, how I want to corner, etc. Sport can be pretty frantic with a lot of stop and go driving. M Mode is a blast, and typically I use it on open road, Interstate, or if I'm in a hurry. Not for stop and go around town.

Interesting....I find Plain M Mode to be my default for stop and go around town.
The shifts are quicker (though nothing like Sport) and the handling is a little more responsive too. Hate being caught without M mode when I need a quick maneuver to get past a slow and/or bad driver. |
