Nice, now you just need to get the Merc outa the way so you can go enjoy it. Why the change of wheels?

SWEET!

What did the ECU flash do?

Also, with those 21-inchers: you may want to do a search for a thread I saw recently on here, on ///Ms getting their lower fender paint bombarded with road chips. The lower panels on these beauties are getting sandblasted as quickly as 3,000 miles. A lot of pissed-off X5///M owners. Something to do with the combination of the wide wheels and the aerodynamic flow of the body lines. A few guys went with mud flaps for the front wheels, others 3M'd the whole lower portion of the vehicle, including wheel arches and doors. Don't know if either one is a permanent solution, but it's better than leaving the paint completely naked. I would do it soon, especially with snow and salt right around the corner.

Haha, very true! I barely drive it anymore but still love it, for now! I changed the wheels cause i just didnt like the stock ones, thought these looked much better, esp. with the red color.

The ECU flash, as i was told, gave me 85hp/100tq, approx. I dont have a dyno though to confirm that. Yes i am starting to see some road chips on the bottom of the fenders/panels! Next spring i will be probably be repainting those areas and front bumber and installing 3M over the front and any portion that could be affected, but it might be smart to do it now before having the deal with repainting!

Congrats! Not a fan of the 215's but love the color. I believe there's a member here with a nicely modded white X5Monster in your neck of the woods.

Happy motoring
