Corrosion issues and a damaged X5M in Milwaukee

So I am still having corrosion issues in the rear hatch of my X5M. First it was the camera wiring. Now it is the license plate light and one of my rear taillights. Apparently, there is moisture that is getting in and causing the corrosion. They had to order a bunch of new parts and will try to fix it next week.

While I was at the dealership, the service guy told me that there is another black X5M in Milwaukee. Apparently, this person hit something in the road to cause a blowout. He was vague on details but stated that it caused over $5,000 in damage! Between, rim, tire, suspension, brake and a bunch of other parts. Ouch.

If that many componants where involved, then 5K is pretty cheap!
