I came home early this morning from a poker game.
I was driving my E63 and had my Passport Timer with me. I hit the same highway. Fuel was on Reserve. I launched it the best way possible. DSC off. Air suspension fully up. Comfort stiffness, sport mode. let the car shift in its own. No matter how I left it roasted the tires. to the point I would leave a cloud of tire smoke behind me. i tried powerbraking it, I tried flat punching it. I tried feathering. No dice. and with the tranny in that car, it will upshift when it spins and when it finally is hooked the gear is way too high and it bogs But even with all that it still ran a best of: 0-60 4.62 1/4 12.80@116 with a set of drag radial I think the E can go a bottom 12. I though the X5 would be a good substitute. But I guess not. You cannot beat a better power to weight ratio! I just might have to keep her.
