Steering Wheel Not Responding When Turning Car On & Off
Any thoughts? Is this a setting or memory problem? Car is a 2010 X5M. Thanks in advance. |

I have same model/year.
For a time, it (steering wheel/column) would go up when exiting, but I would have to bring it down myself. Now, it doesn't move upon exit without me doing it 'manually'. Doesn't really bother me, so I never asked about it.

Since your under warranty, just go to the dealer!

Glad I'm not alone. Yes, its under warranty but not going to make a special trip. It's actually okay as I don't have to wait for it to move up/down, back/forth but it's definitely not working correct. I'm just raising it to exit for now.
I'm not sure I want them ripping apart the dash either..... my wifes 50i did it as well but then started working again if I recall correctly. |
