^Nice! One of the only Ferraris I would want to own My colour of choice is all black, but only my cayenne lives up to that, and even that is matte black! If I were to get an X5 M (Which I was close to buying until I saw the M50d) , I would get space grey w/ shakir orange and carbon fibre trim

Iconoclast - I love mine - hasn't been back to dealer in a year since I bought it (and had to have the 2ndary waterpump and the burnt harness replaced - known issue)

it is the harness for the 2nd cooling pump - the turbos use a separate cooling system and the pump is a known recall. Mine obviously overheated enough to melt the silicone around the wires and the plastic plug that attaches the harness to the pump (electric pump)

BMW has issued a recall, # 11V-521 (Service Bulletin 11 08 11), due to moisture getting into the turbocharger coolant pump, causing an electrical short circuit. Results can run from an overheated pump to potential of a fire (due to an extremely overheated pump).
The repair is to replace the auxiliary coolant pump with an updated and improved unit.

gotcha. thanks for the head's up... i saw on the service history that there was damage to the plastic by the firewall. after reading this it's safe to assume it was due to this?
