I paid $400 including shipping for mine on ebay. It's very well welded, and weighs 14 lbs. less than the factory muffler, so I gained performance just from weight loss. It sounds pretty loud on cold start on my 35i, but settles into a nice deep rumble. It has no drone or rasp on acceleration or at cruising speed. It took my muffler guy less than 1/2 hour to install it including welding. All in all, I'm very pleased with this upgrade. Definitely a lot of bang for the buck.

Mine is 35i, but if you search on ebay, you'll see some which fit the M. Looks like they're a little pricier, but still a great deal if you ask me.
