Improvements after 3 yrs on the road

Got X5M 1/2010,with 36,000 miles just had some service issues resolved 1) Increased battery Discharge, was intermittent, then happened all the time. - New Battery Installed. They wanted to put in a bigger battery, but it wouldn't fit the space, so is same size, done under warranty. 2) squeaky brakes when in reverse - they changed out the brake pads , done under warranty. No squeak yet , and great improvement in stopping distance. WOW 3) Noticible tick,tick, tick engine noise with acceleration - no fix they think its just the way the fuel injector sounds. Run in M mode and it's not noticible over the engine noise. 4) GPS upgrade - $350. What a ripoff. Too bad they went away from DVDs.

Welcome to the club! I'm new to the //M club. I know this is going to be a very popular place as we 2nd owners get into these complicated, fantastically technical vehicles.

My ride has had all those things done by previous owner. They replaced belt tensioner for engine noise solution. Mine is ticky-tick also. I think thats the way they end up. Keep your ears peeled, when it gets worse then you have to intervene..?
