Why does LC show the flag sometimes but not others...

Why does LC show the flag sometimes but not others...

TC is off
M mode is on
Transmission is in sport

Hold the brake and Mash the gas.

RPM's hold just under 3k RPMs....sometimes the flag comes up and frankly most times it doesn't.

Car gets out ok....but i feel like when i see the flag it has a bit more torque off the line...

Thoughts?
