Superbrightleds does have some of the best stuff. They charge a premium for them, but are usually worth it. Used lots of their rope lights, MR bulbs, GU bulbs, and strip lights for different things. Did I read the above correctly that you upgraded the Z3's headlights to LED?

I'll peruse their selection and see what they have nowadays. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised per your description.

I sure did! The Z3 now has LED headlights, fogs, tails, turn signals (front & rear), brake lights, interior lights, trunk light, license plate lights, etc! I absolutely LOVE the upgraded lighting!!!!

Did your Z3 have halogen headlights before or Xenon/HID?

Halogen. No Z3 ever came with Xenons from the factory. Those weren't offered as an option on a Roadster until the debut of the E85 in 2003.

LED Lights

Dusty
I just joined hoping to find someone who replaced the interior bulbs on their X3 to LED's. I have an 08 x3 3.0si and I replaced all the interior lights to LED and when I got to the cargo area the two pillar ones worked for a short time - 2-4 minutes and went out. I can not get the tailgate one to work with a LED bulb. It is the one that has a dual colored lens clear and red. Any ideas? I love the difference these make. I changed all the interior lights on my 08 Z4 Coupe to cool blue - awesome. Just need help with the tail gate and cargo area on the 08 X3. Is there a fuse for just the tail gate? Thanks for any help.

We've replaced all of the interior bulbs on the wife's E83 with LED's. No problem with any of the bulbs installed... which LED kit did you purchase?
