Style 87 Wheels

Does anyone know if style 87 wheels from the e53 (4.6is) will fit in a LCI E83? It's my favorite wheel and I even have an extra set for the winter. I love my 4.6is but am starting to regret the slush-box and am considering the hunt for a 6spd manual x3. Thanks!

I found this on the net- never seen em on an E83 in person, but I agree with you about being a benchmark wheel. I'm in the market for a manual E83 also and finding one that meets my specific color/LCI and options requirements; is proving elusive...good luck!

Different angle- don't know if I like the rear bumper but the wheels sure look good.

Here is a C&P snippet from a 4+ yr old post, that listed the bore size, etc for Xs...
It appears any OE wheel that fit on the E53 X should fit on an E83, but not poz on the LCI E83.

GL, mD

X3 E83 = PCD 5x120, centre bore 72.5mm and M14x1.5 bolt thread. ET 40-45

X5 E53 = PCD 5x120, centre bore 72.5mm and M14x1.5 bolt thread. ET 40-45

X5 E70 = PCD 5x120, centre bore 74.0mm and M14x1.25 bolt thread. ET 37-53

X6 E71 = PCD 5x120, centre bore FRONT 74.0mm, centre bore REAR 72.5mm and M14x1.5 bolt thread

I got rid of my E53 to get my LCI E83. I kinda regretted it for a week or so. The X3 felt more modern but considerably smaller. After a week or so, I was very happy with my decision and never looked back again.
