X3 power loss

hi folks ..I have a 2007 2.0d X3 it had mid range power problems .so I did a oil, Oil filter and air filter change also cleaned out the EGR valve .all back together and it now runs like a bag of Garbage ??? no power and really struggles to even pull on the slightest slope.. I am awaiting a C110 code reader .but can anyone point me in a direction that may help this is my only form off transport and really need to get it sorted ..
