Rear bumper protection
Hi,
Just painted my bumpers and side skirts to color match the car (black), didn't like the plastic look. Now i need to use some protection on the top of the rear bumper to avoid scratches to the paint. Just looked at BMW parts diagrams and it seems they don't have a specif protection to my MY. I'd love some suggestions of aftermarket options out there, on Ebay and others, and your experience with someone who use one of those protections Thanks in advance for your help. Regards

Bumper Protector on Amazon
There is a "universal" bumper protector I saw on Amazon. They come in 35" and 41" lengths and are 3" wide which, after measuring my 2008 X3, may hang over a hair but may not be noticeable. Do a search on Amazon for "AULLY PARK Universal Black Rubber Door Sill Guard for Car Pickup SUV Truck" or
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...A3W2SO842MQ1IS There seems to be many that carry or make the same protector. Another option would be to find another car make in a parking lot that has the same radius and order that one. If you use the one on Amazon or another, can you please post a follow-up? |
