hex nut that secures wire clamp to the battery's negative terminal

hey, folks,

this is a bit of an odd request (or a long shot), but i am requesting assistance in confirming the dimensions of the hex nut that secures the wiring to the negative terminal of the battery. this is in a 2007 x3 3.0si.

i believe it is a 10 mm hex nut....

i do not know the thread pitch. does anyone know what it is?

if not, could someone kindly measure:
(a) width across the flats
and
(b) height?
