Options for Jack, original missing
Looking at realOEM apparently the jack is specific to 04-10 X3s. Wondering if anyone had any luck with a cheaper alternative then going with OEM for the trunk jack. Thanks! |

My wifes X3 was missing jack as well, I went with a used X5 jack that has a different part number but works perfectly fine.

What year X5? Im assuming 04-10 would probably work with my 08 X3?

Yes, X5 was an E53, X3 is an '05. I'm not sure how it's supposed to fit in the holder and I think the X5 jack is slightly longer and doesn't fit like it is supposed to, but it does fit. On both I wrap the jack in a rag to keep it from rattling and so that I have a rag handy when I use the jack.
