Alloy wheels

Hi after some advice on the confusing topic of wheels and tyres my 2006 e83 x3 has the same size 17” wheels with same size tyres , I’m looking to put 19” on from a f25 x3 but they show as staggered size not the same size all round , after reading you can put them on and you can’t because of diff issues , is it possible or not and should I stick to 17” or 18” as they have matching tyre size . Tia

To help you, provide the offsets, tire sizes of the f25 x3 wheels

Seems like they were an option on EUDM (UK) spec cars

The issue with diff and transfer case damage is only a consideration when the rims are different widths, then tyres need to be 2 different profiles to keep the same rolling circumference.

My 2009 X3 has:
235/45/R19 8.5Jx19 ET46 front
255/40/R19 9.0Jx19 ET51 rear

Double check the rim width. Obviously the wheels need to clear brakes and wheel arches.
