E83 Angel Eyes

Hello All! Nice little site you have here! I'm a newb to the E83 but not to Bimmers...

So, I'm looking into angel eyes for my 07' X3. I previously had Umnitza's on my E46, and was semi-happy with them. I did have some issues with elec connections, but overall I was content. My question is: Are there any less expensive options? Any how-to's regarding install?

Any help or direction is appreciated.

TIA!

This place isn't nearly as active as e46fanatics. Unfortunately, I can't be of any help, as I'm here researching the e53/e83, for a future purchase.

I miss the e46, but my Tacoma is sooooo much more fun.

the E83 headlights are a complete unit. In order to get into them you basically have to bake them open..which I wouldn't even try..

There is a option by buying something like this which is what i have on my 08 X3. Works well. Keep in mind this utilizes the original halos inside and just changes the bulb color from orange to white. https://www.amazon.ca/KATUR-Xenon-65...86441503&psc=1

These will still be controlled by the onboard LCM module on when they come on, only when headlights are on. In order to activate them as ALWAYS ON (kind of like DRL) you'd have to get a bypass module which is like $150 otherwise your halos will only come on when your headlights are. Its not an option that can be coded on the E83 as the halo ring in the headlights is not its "own" entity for programming like some E90s etc.

Thanks for the input! To make matters even worse, I have the halogen lights. So... I'm looking for the complete Kit.
