Believe it or not, Weapon-R's Dragon intake is C.A.R.B. certified for the 3-series (at least what they are reporting on their web-site). Intake is about $100 or so. No heat shield though

I have already talked with ECIS. They said it "might" fit but that they are going to try test fitting on a local X3...

I dunno about the Weapon-R intake. I did a search over at e46fanatics and didn't come up with anything. I guess for $100 its worth a try as long as it is 100% reversible. We should set up a meet for the socal X3'ers.

Just bought one. We'll see how it fits.

I had a Weapon R intake in my 2000 Eclipse GT. I liked it.

Some say it's very "rice" but whatever. I had a good experience with their products.

FYI: Spoke w/ AFE and their C.A.R.B. approval is actually pending. Pending for how long? I dunno. But at $450, I rather give ECIS a try.

Well, I should know by next week... whether there's a CARB sticker with the intake or not. (Point: Weapon-R's web-site says "SOME APPICATIONS ARE CARB CERTIFIED." Company I bought it from says "CARB CERTIFIED.")

I can only find Dinan. No ECIS or Weapon-R. Maybe under different name?
