Seat "switcharoo"

While looking at my front seats (driver's tattered and passenger's pristine)...
I think I can make one good driver's seat out of the change with a little work.

Good luck with your project!

If your E83 is like the E53, be aware that if you disconnect the seats' electrical connections they will set off the airbag light on the dashboard, unless you disconnect the battery first.

So very true! Thanks!
One must disconnect the battery (at least the +) BEFORE any removing or disconnecting...and remember to wait a good 15mins after disconnection is made...let all powered components die out of power.

Fired up the X3 tonight and sure enough...the air bag light appears! And my creator 310 has somehow gone dead! It's been threatening for the last 2mos.
Good thing I made an appointment to the indy shop a week ago for calibrating the intermittent wipers. Clear one gremlin another one arises...I will not be defeated!cheers!

After patching the rear passenger tire...I clear the tire low button on the dash to rest the tire sensor back to normal.
Not only do I clear/reset the tire inflation sensor but I clear the airbag light as well...who knew, go figure! I'll take it!
