Tried 2 seperate HVAC (manual) control panels, still no control of the air direction.

The flaps are usually controlled with stepper motors or cables. The control panel only controls the actuators for the air flow not the air flow itself.

Ok, well nothing changes, so is there a module inbetween the control and the actuators?

IIRC, there are tiny electrical motors that control the flaps...

Yes, all the flaps are controlled by actuators. What controls them???
Thats what im asking. I turn the knob, the air direction does not change. Where is the disconnect? I have replaced the whole panel. Still the same symptoms. |
