ICE Link Problems

Recently purchased Ice Link Plus IPOD adapter for my X3. Found all connections in my center console; however, having problems with coax connection. Any suggestions?

Are your connections a 3 pin connector and a 6 pin connector, or are they a 3 pin connector and a coax connector? If it's the former then you have the analog DSP system and do not need the DSP adaptor. You just hook up the iceLink connections to the 3 and 6 pin connectors and you are good to go.

I have the 3 pin connector with the coax connector but the coax connector in my center armrest is a female end and the DSP adapter coax connector is also a female end. Dension doesn't seem to be any help when I contacted them, other than to tell me to try to find an aftermarket piece to make the two ends connect. Any suggestions?

The cables will be under the storage bin, underneath the center console - sometimes the cabling is underneath the carpeting.

If you have the Sirius prewiring in your X3 (doubt that option is available in Germany), the cables will be in the cargo area - behind the access panel on the driver's side.
