I'm not all into the wood trim. I think it's for older folks. I'm contemplating on making the switch.

i'm thinking the same as well. i have the same color combination as you, and prefer the look of aluminum instead of wood with the terracotta...

I don't understand how BMW can call it aluminum trim, when it's plastic. At least wood trim - IS real wood. The interior of the X3 is so full of plastic to begin with why add more?!

I know I'm in the minority on this one but to each his/her own. I guess that's the beauty of being able to "custom" build your ride.
