Brown Tubing coming from the cargo area??
the only think that kinda baffled me is that there were 2 brown tube lines (connected) coming from the cargo area and toward the front along the passenger side toward the roof. Then end of the brown hose had a value-type apparatus that looks like something you'd attached to a propane tank. Does anyone have a clue as to what this is? I realize my X3 isn't "Prep'd" yet but I can't think of what this would be for? Anyways my X3 is configured like this: Mystic Blue Gray interior Premium package Premium Stereo Xenons Navigation Sat radio prep privacy glass cold weather heated steering wheel (ah I figured for 150, what the heck) Thanks |

The tubing is the umbilical cord to the battery. Has a red knob that can be turned. See my post below.
http://www.x3world.com/x3-e83-forum/...off-truck.html During shipping the cord allows them to disconnect the battery. It comes off before delivery. Jon |

Oh ok, Thanks Jon.
I just picked up my X3 tonight, I'm feeling a little sentimental about trading in my 330ci but the X3 is awesome. Nav is really cool, pretty darn accurate. |
