Just got my X3

I just got my new X3. Saphire Black, Terracotta, Premium, Nav..... cool!! .. oh yeah +Aux ??

Actually it was a present from the wifie. Some major advantages of being married . I now need to press every button and flick every switch to see what happens….

My Nav says I got 4-1/60 version of the SW. I know this is not the latest – so should I tell the dealer to get the latest or shall I follow all the good stuff on this forum and do it my self.

What’s the deal with the IPod not working the Nav – very disappointed! I guess the Ice>ink is the way to go.

Looking forward to reading and hopefully contributing an original thought.

congrats on your new X3! you'll love it! and you got the best color combination available.

the auxiliary cable only allows you to hear your ipod through your speakers - you still control what songs play and such through your ipod. if you get the bmw ipod integration kit, you can control your ipod through the steering wheel controls and such. not sure how it works with the nav system, but i think you have some functionality/ability to control the ipod through it. the ice link system will do the same, but shows more information than the oem ipod kit. from what i read here and on the bimmerfest forums, most people choose the ice link kit.
